Studio Layout Overview

On desktop, the Explayner studio is divided into three focused panels:

  • Left Panel (Creation Tools): Project metadata, aspect ratio, voice settings, and generation controls.
  • Center Panel (Preview & Canvas): The interactive video player, playhead scrubber, timecodes, and the 'Edit scene' canvas switcher.
  • Right Panel (Post-Production Drawers): Tabs for Scenes (script & timing), Edit (visual property inspector), Captions (subtitle styles & cues), and Music (waveform & tracks).

Player & Playhead Synchronization

The central player supports standard playback controls: Play/Pause, Mute/Unmute, progress scrubbing, and hover timecode previews.

Crucially, the playhead is preserved when toggling between 'Preview' and 'Edit scene'. When you pause the video at a specific scene and click 'Edit scene', the canvas opens directly on that scene's elements.

Responsive Behavior on Mobile

On smartphones and tablets, left and right panels automatically collapse into sliding drawers. The player remains centered, and the canvas Apply button is pinned to the bottom of the screen.
