Who we are

Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate Explayner: your name and email address; purchase history, including plan or transaction details; credit usage and account balance information; and font files or font preferences that you choose to upload or save. Font files and related preferences may be stored with cloud infrastructure providers so they are available in your account.
How we use information
We use this information to create and manage your account, provide the features you request, process and record purchases, calculate and display credit usage, store and apply your font preferences, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, secure our systems, comply with legal obligations, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information or use uploaded fonts for unrelated advertising.
Legal bases and consent
Depending on your location, we process information to perform our contract with you, take steps at your request, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or rely on your consent. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Sharing and cloud storage
We may share information only with service providers that help us host the app, store font files, process payments, send service communications, provide security, or comply with law. These providers may process information in countries other than yours. We require appropriate confidentiality and security protections and do not permit providers to use your information for their own unrelated purposes.
Retention and deletion
We keep account, purchase, and credit records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and legal requirements, and enforce our agreements. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful exceptions. You may request deletion of your account and uploaded fonts; some transaction records may need to be retained by law.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about our processing, and you may object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Users in India may exercise rights available under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules, including grievance redressal. Users in the EEA/UK may exercise GDPR rights, and users in applicable US jurisdictions may exercise state privacy rights. We may verify requests before acting and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Children and sensitive information
Explayner is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the service. Do not upload sensitive personal information or another person’s font files unless you have the necessary permission and lawful basis.
Security and incidents
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access controls and reputable cloud infrastructure, to protect personal information. No internet service is completely secure. If a data incident requires notification under applicable law, we will notify affected users and authorities as required.
Updates and complaints
We may update this policy by posting a revised version here. If you have a privacy complaint, first contact Explayner through Contact support so we can investigate and resolve it. This policy is intended to support compliance with applicable Indian law and internationally recognised privacy principles, but local legal requirements may vary.
